bina is a full-time live online school for children aged 4 to 15, with small classes, a fixed teacher and a global student body drawn from more than 40 countries. It is Cognia accredited, a registered Cambridge International School and a CIS member, and runs class times across four time zone bands. It is aimed squarely at families whose lives do not fit a standard school calendar.

bina: a real primary school, delivered live, wherever you are

What bina Does

  • Full-time live schooling: taught classes with a consistent teacher and small class sizes, not a self-paced content library.
  • Ages 4 to 15: covering the primary and lower secondary years where most travelling families struggle hardest to find continuity.
  • Four time zone bands: classes scheduled across ET, CET, PT and APAC, so a move across continents does not mean re-enrolling.
  • Properly accredited: Cognia accredited, registered as a Cambridge International School and a CIS member school.
  • More than lessons: over forty clubs, a Family Success support function and access to educational psychology services included in the plans.
  • A community that meets: families across more than forty countries regularly coordinate travel and meet in person.

Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

The youngest years are the ones where online schooling usually falls apart. A fifteen-year-old can work through recorded material alone; a six-year-old cannot, and needs a teacher who knows them and classmates who recognise them. bina is built for that end of the age range specifically, which makes it unusual among flexible online schools that quietly optimise for high schoolers.

The time zone bands are the practical unlock. Plenty of online schools claim to be global and then run every class on US Eastern time, which turns Southeast Asia into a 3am problem. Being able to switch bands as you move is what makes it genuinely compatible with nomad life rather than merely remote.

The accreditation stack also keeps options open. Cambridge registration in particular matters if you expect to re-enter an international school system later.

Pricing

Tuition is published on a separate fees page, with quarterly and yearly plans and discounts for paying further ahead. All plans include the academic programme, the clubs and the support services. Families in some US states may be able to use education savings accounts.

The strongest option if your children are still young and you need actual teaching, not a video library.
