Coco Surfhouse: dorm-to-private surf coliving in Fuerteventura

Coco Surfhouse is in Corralejo at the north end of Fuerteventura, close to the dunes and the island's best-known breaks. It is one of the few colivings that still offers a proper dorm alongside private rooms, which makes it one of the cheapest ways to spend a working month in the Canaries.

What Coco Surfhouse Does

Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

Fuerteventura has the most consistent wind and swell in the Canaries, and Corralejo is where that scene concentrates. The island is dry and warm all year, and it is in the EU with the euro and a European time zone, which removes the friction that makes cheap tropical alternatives complicated.

The dorm is the notable part. Most colivings priced this low are in Southeast Asia or Latin America; getting a bed, a desk and a surf community in western Europe for under 900 euros a month is rare.

Two honest points. A six bed dorm is a real dorm, so if you take calls at odd hours or sleep lightly, budget for a private room instead. And Corralejo is a resort town, lively in season and quieter out of it.
