colivingDB

Categories

colivingDB is a free directory of 617 coliving spaces across 84 countries, plotted on one map with no login and no email wall. Prices are shown in the operator's own currency, and filters cover country, city, room type, minimum stay and price. It keeps the 91 dated pop-up editions separate from permanent spaces and filterable by month. Listings are editorial rather than paid, and each one links straight to the operator's own site.

colivingDB: every coliving on one map

colivingDB is a directory of coliving spaces built by one full-time nomad, Caroline Lupini, who has been on the road since 2014. It exists because most coliving lists are either a handful of partner spaces or a booking funnel, and neither answers the question you actually have: what is available where I am going, and what does it cost.

What colivingDB Does

  • 617 colivings in 84 countries, on one map. Browse by region and country, or pan the map and see what is there.
  • Prices in the operator's own currency. The lowest listed monthly rate, shown as the operator states it, converted to euros only for comparison.
  • Pop-ups kept separate from permanent spaces. 91 of the entries are dated editions: traveling programs, cruises and camps that run for a few weeks. They are filterable by month, which general coliving lists do not do.
  • Filters that match how you choose. Country, city, room type, minimum stay, price ceiling, and vibe tags like surf, mountain, eco, quiet or startup.
  • No account and no email wall. Nothing is gated behind a signup, and the site does not sit between you and the operator.
  • Links straight to the operator's own site. Dead links are audited and removed, which is the maintenance most directories quietly skip.

Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

Coliving is the one category where the listings are genuinely hard to find. Operators are small, they rarely rank, and the aggregators that do rank are usually selling placement. colivingDB is editorial: a space is included because it is a real coliving people look for, not because anyone paid, and being listed does not imply the operator submitted it or endorses the site.

The pop-up filter is the part worth knowing about. If you are planning three months in Europe and want to overlap with a dated edition somewhere, the month filter is the fastest way to find one, and those programs are otherwise scattered across a dozen organiser sites.

Treat prices as a starting point rather than a quote. They are the lowest listed rate, so the room you actually want will usually cost more, and rates move faster than any directory can track.
