Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

Fuerteventura has the most reliable wind and waves in the Canaries, which is why the kite and surf crowd concentrates in Corralejo. The island is dry and warm all year, and it is in the EU on the euro with a European time zone, so a winter here involves no visa or currency complexity.

The two night minimum is the practical standout. Most Canary colivings want a month up front; being able to arrive for a couple of nights and extend is a much better way to find out whether a place and an island suit you.
