Laberint Coliving

Categories

Laberint is a curated four room coliving in a 200 square metre flat in central Palma de Mallorca, family run and aimed at professionals rather than short-term travellers. Rates are around 1,200 euros a month discounted from 1,320, all inclusive with utilities and housekeeping, with a 32 night minimum. Each room is themed on a Mallorcan idea and the operator screens applicants by conversation.

Laberint: four rooms and a conversation before you book

Laberint is a small coliving in a 200 square metre flat in central Palma de Mallorca. Four rooms, one community, and a deliberately curated intake: the booking process starts with telling them about yourself and a call, rather than a checkout button.

What Laberint Does

  • Four private rooms in one central flat. Each named after a Mallorcan idea, in a 200 square metre space.
  • All-inclusive rates. Around 1,200 euros a month discounted from 1,320, with utilities and housekeeping included.
  • A 32 night minimum. Longer than most, because the community depends on people overlapping properly.
  • A curated intake. Applicants have a conversation first, which is how a four person house avoids a bad fit.
  • Family run. With a stated interest in connecting residents to Mallorcan culture rather than the expat bubble.

Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

Palma is an underrated city. It has a Gothic cathedral, a serious food scene, a marina, and mountains twenty minutes away in the Serra de Tramuntana, another UNESCO site. Unlike the resort coast, Palma is a functioning Spanish city year round.

Four rooms is very small, and that is the design. In a house this size the people are the product, which is why the screening exists and why the minimum is over a month.

Two things to weigh. Around 1,200 euros a month is real money for a room, though it includes everything and Palma is not cheap. And Mallorca in summer is extremely busy, so shoulder season is the better bet.

Pricing

Around 1,200 euros a month discounted from 1,320, all inclusive, or from 44 euros a night. Thirty two night minimum.

Deliberately tiny and deliberately selective, which is either the appeal or the reason to look elsewhere.
