NUM

Categories

NUM is an AI travel concierge you message in plain language to find and book real local places: dinner tonight, a driver at 6am, a massage nearby, a table for six. It covers 77 destinations across 38 countries, answers in the language you write in, and installs to a phone home screen straight from the browser with no app store and no account. It is free for travellers, and businesses pay 10% of a booking it completes. It also runs on LINE, with WhatsApp and WeChat in progress.

NUM: a concierge you message, in 77 destinations

NUM is an AI travel concierge built by 5arz. You describe what you want in ordinary language and it comes back with two or three real local places that fit, then books one for you. It works in 77 destinations across 38 countries, at any hour, in whatever language you write in.

What NUM Does

  • Books, not only recommends. Ask for a table at 8pm, a car at 5:30am or a massage this afternoon, and NUM confirms it with the venue instead of handing you a phone number.
  • Speaks both sides. You write in your language, the business reads the request in theirs. Neither of you has to switch.
  • Remembers your preferences. Tell it once that you are vegetarian, travelling with kids, or that you hate early mornings, and it stops asking.
  • Installs from the browser. Open itsnum.com/get on a phone and add it to the home screen. No app store, no download, no account to start.
  • Runs on LINE too (@799pyrus), with WhatsApp and WeChat in progress.
  • Says what is verified and what is not. Travellers are identity-checked by 5arz as unique real people before they can book, and a business listing counts as verified only once its owner proves control of the contact published on it. Unclaimed places are marked as mapped rather than verified.

Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

The first week in a new city is the expensive one. You do not know which restaurant is real, which clinic will see you, or who answers a booking request at 1am, and the usual answer is to ask the hotel desk. A concierge thread does that job without the hotel, and it behaves the same in Lisbon as in Bangkok, so there is no new local app to learn every time you move on. Coverage is deepest in Thailand and the United Kingdom today, with Edinburgh, London and Phuket among the live markets, so it earns its place on those routes first and is thinner elsewhere.

Pricing

Free for travellers, with no signup needed to start asking. Businesses list for free and pay 10% of a booking NUM completes, with optional analytics dashboards starting at around $10 a month.

Worth keeping on the home screen for the first few days in a city you do not know yet.
