Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

The laptop support is the reason to know about this one. Most travel eSIMs assume the phone is the only device that needs data, and tethering is fine until the phone is charging in another room or the battery is the thing you are trying to protect on a travel day. A Windows machine with its own eSIM works on the train and in the airport without a hotspot in the loop.

Being owned by a carrier group rather than being a reseller also shows up in the boring places: the coverage list is stable, the app is old enough to have had its bugs found, and the same account carries between a country plan and a global one without a new install.
