US LLC Setup

US LLC Setup

Categories

US LLC Setup forms a Wyoming LLC for founders who do not live in the United States, covering the state filing, the first year of registered agent service and the EIN application without a Social Security Number. Higher tiers add a pre-filing review, a banking readiness checklist and preparation for a Mercury or Wise application. It is a small operation run by one founder working in English and German, so it sits between the self-serve incorporation platforms and hiring an accountant.

US LLC Setup: a Wyoming LLC when you do not live in the US

What US LLC Setup Does

  • Files the LLC in Wyoming: state filing fee included, plus the first year of registered agent service, which is the address requirement a non-resident cannot satisfy alone.
  • Handles the EIN without an SSN: the step that stalls most non-US founders, since the online IRS application is closed to anyone without a Social Security Number.
  • Prepares you for US banking: a readiness checklist on the middle tier, and actual application preparation on the top one. Mercury and Wise are the partners named.
  • Core company documents: operating agreement and the rest of the paperwork a bank or a payment processor will ask to see.
  • Direct contact with one person: email support for a week, two weeks or a month depending on the package, and a call on the two higher tiers. English and German.

Why It Makes Sense for Nomads

A US LLC is the standard answer for a location-independent founder whose clients or platforms are American. It gives you an entity that Stripe, Mercury and most US marketplaces will accept, without needing residence anywhere in particular.

The work itself is not complicated, and plenty of people do it alone. What makes it slow is that two steps assume you are already in the country: the registered agent address and the EIN. This service exists to remove exactly those two, and the higher tiers exist because opening the bank account afterwards is the part that actually fails for people.

The honest caveat is that forming the company is the beginning, not the end. A US LLC brings annual registered agent renewal, Wyoming state fees, a BOI-style federal reporting obligation and, most importantly, a tax position in whatever country you are actually resident in. None of that goes away because the entity is American, and a formation service is not a tax advisor. Get the second opinion before you file, not after.

Pricing

Three fixed-price packages, starting at around 600 euros and running to roughly 1,200 for the version with a strategy call and banking application preparation. All include the Wyoming filing fee and the first year of registered agent service; renewals after that are separate. Check the current rates on the site.

Worth it if the EIN and the bank account are what is blocking you, rather than the filing itself.
